Dreams

One good dream, and one bad dream. Two seperate nights.

The first one, the bad one, is kind of creepy. So, in the dream I was at some parade, I think I was alone, I'm not positive. All of the floats in the parade were really high up, almost as high as the roof of a normal house. They were also not on wheels, they were on many large rolling things (like rolling pins without the handles) and could move by themselves. So while I'm watching this parade, this clown is like falling off the side of the float (because they also don't have sides. They're pretty much a big moving cube on rollers) and no one is noticing. Sure enough, he falls off the side of the float. I'm standing there thinking it's an act and part of the parade. Well somehow he ends up getting underneath the float, and the rolling pin things roll right over him. When the float passes, the clown is laying on the ground, in a pool of his own blood, still half alive, missing his right arm, with his legs and other arm and rest of his body all mangled up.

Then I woke up and layed in my bed thinking "how the hell does someone dream about that?". Even thinking about it now, eew. It was SO gross. And it was even worse that he was a clown, dressed all in clown clothes, the face make-up and all. It wouldn't have been so bad if it was just a normal guy. But seriously... gross.

The second dream I had was pretty good, actually, the beginning was awesome, the rest was funny. I was walking (alone again, sad little me) down a road, and as I started crossing this big huge light blue bridge, the whole town I'm walking in starts to sing. Like, everyone in the town, they just start to sing. In my dream I was singing too even though the song wasn't a real song. I don't remember any of the words though. xD So everything was just plain awesome because these people started lining up in front and behind me and everyone was singing! Then when that song was over, the people on the bridge behind me (that I was almost across by now) started up a new song, but it was about your love. Whoever you love or whatever. So I started running towards this one guy (someone my mind made up. Never seen him before in my life. And he wasn't even hot.) But before I could reach him, we hear this pounding, and me and everyone in front of me turn around to see this stampede of girls running our way. Like sprinting. Ever seen The Lion King? The stampede scene where Mufasa dies? Just like that, but with girls. So me and everyone in front of me also start to run so we're not trampled by these girls (in fastish slo-mo, if you get what I mean). I'm across the bridge by now and we're all running to some sort of TV station/music store/Wal-Mart, and inside.

When we run inside because that's where the stampede is headed, I realize that standing in the store looking scared out of their minds, is the Jonas Brothers! Haha! So hundreds of girls are stampeding towards the Jonas Brothers, all three of the Jonas Brothers are running around trying to find a way out, their body guards are pulling girls off of them and I'm just standing there watching. Plus I was surprised that they just happened to be there. I think at one point I tried pulling a girl or two off of either Joe or Nick, because they were actually getting hurt, but other than that, in the dream, I just stood there.

Then I woke up.

: Felt the need to write about those. Not that there's anything else more interesting to write about anyways.

13 Year Old UK BOY is Father at 13

Click on post title to read the story, or click here.

All I can say is wow. This actually grosses me out. Not so much the fact that this fifteen-year-old girl was even dating a kid who's thirteen (but was 12 when they had sex), but as the article says, looks more like he's eight. Where I live, she would be in grade 10, he'd be in grade 7. That's like, some of those girls at my school going out with my 12 year old brother! EW. Anyways, it's more the fact that they had unprotected sex, got pregnant, and didn't get an abortion that grosses me out. It didn't say in the article from The Sun if they were religious or not, but come on. Maybe I just think it's absolutely wrong not to get an abortion if you're young, especially as young as them! If you think about it it's just saving that kid from a bad life to begin with. Plus I cannot grasp any of the reasoning religion has against abortion, and other things, so I won't get into it.

It's obvious this kid does not know what he's getting into. In the interview he's asked "What will you do for money?" And he just shrugs his shoulders and says "I dunno." He and his "girlfriend" are relying mostly on their parents. I just do not see how this is going to work out for the good.

Haha, I also read this, and no offense to anyone from Britain but I thought it was funny and icky at the same time: "The UK now has the most (and the youngest) teenage pregnancies in the world. (More than the USA and Asia). Britain is often referred to as the 'horny nation'..."

Nice to know the US isn't screwing up completely.

*sigh*, then there's even this.

"Last night Michaela Aston, of the anti-abortion Christian charity LIFE, said: “We commend these teenagers for their courage in bringing their child into the world.""

How can you "commend these teenagers" for their courage? They kept the baby because they're stupid and irresponsible, and had no clue of what they were getting into. Gah.

Anyways, enough rant on that. It grosses me out, and kind of makes me mad at the same time, for some odd reason. But whatever.

Now, about those poor people in Australia. I have to admit I'm usually pretty ignorant of the problems of any place that isn't near to where I live. But I truely do feel bad for the people who're going through those horrible fires in Australia. These pictures from The Big Picture really made me feel for them. They kind of showed me how serious it really is over there. Not to mention all of their wildlife. Whenever I think of Australia I always think of it as a nice place, not just view wise but even the people. I have no idea if the people there are polite and nice (like us Canadians, wink wink) or not, I just get that impression from the things I hear about the place.

I hope they get things under control and start rebuilding soon. : (

...

So less depressing news stories I want to talk about, and more about... uh, well my boring life. I got my hair cut today, because it was getting long and really ugly and eew. I got it differently than I usually do, but I loove it. Now I just need some different colour, or maybe just recolour of what it is. Then we went to Red Lobster. I think it was for Valentines Day tomorrow. I'm sure there was some reason, my dad isn't the type to just take us to an expensive restaurant like that for no reason. Then the Niagara Square (actually we went to the Niagara Square first because when we went to Red Lobster the first time it was packed and there was a 20-30 minute wait. When we went back we didn't have to wait at all for a table, and not very long for the food either.) We pet bunnies and a guinea pig. Looked at some birds and talked to a lady who thought the rats were gross. Haha. Then we went searching for a belt for me since the one I have isn't small enough. Well the only ones in the first store were all too small. Then we stopped at one of those vendors in the middle of the hall and the lady (who had some sort of cool accent, yet I could still understand her) tried to help us find one. But they were either too small or WAY too big. So no new belt. *sigh* My pants will just continue to fall down slowly during the day.
Well now I'm all out of things to say, so I'm off.

Joaquin Phoenix on The Late Show

Click the post title if you want to watch the video of the interview on YouTube, as long as you do so before CBS yanks it.

I just watched this after seeing it on The Insider. What the hell is with that dude? People are speculating he was in character during the interview, being weird on purpose, but who knows why? Maybe he was on drugs, maybe he was just being stupid. I also heard he's shy like that and hates interviews but dude, you're an actor, get used to it, how are you shy? (Actually he's not an actor anymore, he wants to be a rapper now. I know, I don't know what's wrong with him either.)

Plus look at him in this interview from 2006. Completely different guy. (Yes, take away the sunglasses, beard and long hair from the 2009 interview, it is the same guy). He's telling a story about a rat that came into his house, and in the 2009 interview he apparently didn't have any stories to tell. So I'm leaning towards the "doing it for publicity"/"David Letterman was in on it (at the end of the interview Joaquin says "Good job" and shakes David's hand, also whips off his sunglasses)"/"was just being stupid"/"was on drugs" theories. Any of those, or he's just trying to act the way he thinks rap stars would act while being interviewed. Pretty sure I've seen Snoop Dogg do better interviews. (In fact yes, I do recall one where he talked to Conan O'Brien about how his kid has a pet lizard and likes to hide money.)

Anyways enough about Joaquin Phoenix. (Did YOU know you say his name like Wah-Keen? I just figured that out today...)

Survivor starts tonight. I'm watching it right now actually. It's already pretty good, been a twist 9 minutes in!

Well darn, my power went out while I was in the shower (it's been about 2 hours since I started writing this, took a break). Good thing I was pretty much done, although it was really hard finding a towel so I didn't get the floor wet (I did anyway), climbing over the pile of clothes in the way, opening the door to the kitchen and still not be able to see a single thing. Well anyways while my dad and I were searching for candles it came back on, so all is good. Unless it goes out again, that's bad because 1) I'll be sitting here in the dark, and 2) No internet connection. If you didn't know (but you probably did) wireless internet doesn't mean it works when the power is off. Nope. You have to have a computer somewhere with the modem hooked up and plugged in. Stupid yea, battery operated laptops, there should be battery operated modems. If it does go out again I can always read by flashlight...

Now I don't really know what to say. I think I shall post this now, and leave. :D Gooooodbyeeee!

The Grammy's - And Other Less Awesome Things

So I watched the Grammy's tonight. All 3 and a half hours of it, for my loves. And yes, they were amazing for the whole minute they were there. Even during whoever won's speech I couldn't help staring at the little blonde head floating in the corner. xD Mike and Treeeee were awesome as well. Likin' the hair though. Damn.

Plus they announced their albums name "21st Century Breakdown" and that it's coming out in MAY. :O OhmyGodtoomuchinformationinonenightaah. And yes, I'm sure we will see you next year. ; ) Anyways, if you don't know who I'm talking about then you shouldn't even know me! And anyone who knows me enough to know what I am talking about probably doesn't know how long I could go on for about nothing over these three guys.

Emily Procter and Gary Sinise were there too. But, I don't think anyone knows what they're missing when Jonathan Togo isn't involved. Dude, he's way awesome-er than Emily. And Chelsea just be quiet because he is awesome, don't even deny it. Not to mention very, very, veryveryvery hot. ANYWAYS.

I had a very uneventful weekend (before the Grammy's). I finished The Book Thief FINALLY. I have to say it was also pretty uneventful and nothing good happened until about the LAST chapter. That happens in a lot of books but not that far into the book. Usually a little over half way, not three and a half quarters.

I tried fixing my Sims, but they refuse to unfreeze no matter what I do. I am sad because therefore, I will have to remove the neighbourhood I stole from my nannie's computer and be rid of the Anderson's forever. Oh how I'll miss them. *sniff*

You know what I don't get? People who like wrestling. Ie. WWE. What is so entertaining about a bunch of grossly muscular grown men, dancing around a box with rope around it, in underwear? Not to mention it is the fakest crap ever. Everything is choreographed. Even the WINNERS are chosen before the fights. It's even worse that you can tell it's choreographed. I mean it wouldn't be so bad if it actually looked real, but er, it doesn't. Anyways I still think Hulk Hogan is cool, so what do I know?

I don't like when cats snore, and all three of my cats snore. It's dark where I am and since I'm staring at my laptop screen I can't see much around me, but in my room somewhere, one of my cats is snoring. And it's really annoying. S/he is actually, really snoring. Sounds like little honks every five seconds.

Uhm... yes. I don't really know what else to say. It rained a lot this weekend, and some of the snow melted. I wish Spring would come in February, so it would be like, warm, and green, with widdle flowers growing in the gardens. xD NO, I wish it was May already.

My nannie's dog Trixie passed away on Friday, but I didn't mention it before. RIP Trixie. Pepper misses you, I can tell. :( I gave him lots of hugs for you and shtuff. He got a new toy though in memory of you and he really loves it.

Well on that sad note, (even though I'm still high on GD) I will leave, happy that this blog now has a second post on it. Maybe someone will read it!

P.S. CLICK ON THE BLOG TITLE. HAHAHAA. YOUR EYES WILL NEVER BE HAPPIER AGAIN.

2/06/2009

So, this is my first post...

So this is my first post. I might as well start off with a ... story? Or a complaint maybe. Well, it's a known fact that a lot of the people at my school are stoners. But, most of them at least try to cover it up when they go to class. Not this girl, no way. I didn't think she was that dumb, but whatever.

Anyways, we're the only girls in the whole class, (like one of the teachers said to me, since when do boys take Ancient History?) so she decided to sit by me. Gah. I almost couldn't stand it. Horrible really. She asked me if she looked high and I said no, not really. But if the teacher couldn't tell from her she would have been able to tell from the smell. It didn't really help that we had to work in partners today either. Is it possible to feel high just from breathing in the fumes from someone sitting next to you? If it is, any longer and I would have been too. Good thing the classes are only an hour and a half.

Haha, I even heard one guy comment "Weed scented perfume?" That's what it seemed like!

...

It was really warm today. Yesterday it was freezing. Stupid earth and its weather. OH! I know no one but me cares a bit, but Green Day are presenting at the Grammy's. Holy crap. They're finally back on a stage together since performing on American Idol a year or two ago. Not that they're performing (I wish) but still, exciting news for me at least! ; )

Oh, and thanks Chelsea for telling me about Blogger and how it's amusing to write blogs. :D
